Why Te Reo Maori should be taught in all schools across Aotearoa- writing sample

Today we had to do a peace of writing either agreeing or disagreeing that Te Reo Maori should be taught in all schools across Aotearoa. 

I decided to agree and here's my writing.

Why Te Reo Maori should be taught in all schools across Aotearoa.

  should Te Reo Maori plays a big part in Aotearoa's culture and history because it was one of the first languages ever to be spoken in Aotearoa. Wow! Sadly, Te Reo is also slowly dying because not many people are taught how to speak fluent Maori. So to help Te Reo Maori we need to teach more people. The more that we teach people and kids in our schools would help the language keep going on for more generations. Most families either have 1 or 2 or even no one that can speak fluent Maori. 

 We need to start teaching Te Reo Maori in school because it is an official language for New Zealand and we want to keep it that way. I also don't know how to speak fluent Maori and I think it would be really fun to learn. If I do get taught then I can teach other people and they can teach evan more people. Then by no time everyone will be able to speak Te Reo Maori. If we were to teach Te Reo Maori or any language in schools it would also help to learn any other language. And that's why Te Reo Maori should be compulsory to learn in schools.

Hello My name is Sean I am 11 years old. I go to Te Hapara school and  I like  to play soccer.I have one sister and two cats.I live in New Zealand with my family.
